BearShare looks really good in comparison to its file-sharing competitors with overwrought interfaces. Besides the splashy home page you see when you first load it up, this relatively clean interface gets you to the business of swapping files quickly. The search feature presents results for each search term in individual windows. Each search term is also listed in a box in the lower right-hand corner with controls that let the user stop or delete the search. When we tried to sort results by rank, it didn't work; we could discern no particular order.
