i'm running win98se now and i have winxp home version.
can i just upgrade this so i would not lose everything. or would i need a winxp upgrade disk

If you have all the XP drivers compatible, I think you can upgrade without any problem

But be shure to have them before

If you have old devices upgrade is the option, but if you think that your pc is quite updated go for the clean install..
