Blue Screen Problem : PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

Stop 0x00000050

anvioctl.sys

Very strange and dont have a clue what file this is from?

Yes I have read:

http://www.microsoft.com/resources/d...d_stp_ccgm.asp

Thinking it may have been asus drivers but dont know. Last thing I have installed lately. So I went back to nvidea 56.64 and still blue screened.

See: ASUS VGA Driver for Windows 2000/XP Thats is what anvioctl.sys is.

Dont want to do Last Known Good Configuration cuase that will f everything but will if i have too. And no system restore did not work since same drivers.

Also tried Chkdsk /f /r.

The thing is it always happens after have a screen saver running for about 20 min. Any screen saver mind u, not just one. So i know its not just a screen saver problem.

Thanks,
Will

Well I finally fixed it. Driver Cleaner 3.0 > Cab Cleaner > Driver.cab.

Finally...at least i think so not sure

very odd as the assus driver is on their support site under by motherboard so there should be no problem

and i've already noticed a little degrade in peformance with nvidia 56.64..quality seems to be about the same...think its just a few standard settings are differnet... hopefully RivaTuner will work witht them even though it says they are unsupported...guess i'll see in a little bit

cya,
Will
