Alcohol Burning Data Dvd

I finally got my plex708A set up.
I am using Alcohol 120.

NOW...how do you burn the equivalent of a date CD but actually a data DVD. that is burn a bunch of loose files onto one VDV. I have the files off an original Encarta 2004 Reference suite in one partition. NOW i want to burn this collection of files on to 1 DVD.

Hi there moen.

I think you need a program like Nero to burn data DVD. Alcohol 120% is used for making and burning image files.

Just shout if you need any more info.

Try it with a DVD-RW first till you get the hang of it, then if you goof you can do it again and not waste anything but time.

I have done it with Nero, no problem. I am just trying to find my way around what DVD progs do WhAT.

I have used DVD X copy 321 PLAT a couple of times, where the orig image was split into 2 . THe first one burns OK, but then I cannot figure out hoe to grt it to burn the other DVDS with the rest of the image????

After DVD 1 is done, the screen says to insert a dvd or browse to an image already on your hard drive.

IS there any way one can make it read and burn DVD 2 FIRST?????

Is it by naming the 2 halves different? I have tried to do that....did not work.
