The past two weeks have been rough for the HD DVD camp: Warner has defected to Blu-ray and there are strong rumors that Universal and Paramount are going to defect as well. It is no surprsie then that we are starting to see heavily discounted HD DVD players. Tiger Direct is now selling the A3 for $129. It's a good idea to flood the market with your inexpensive players.
