I just got back from a trip and read your post.
Answer: As my computer is normally left on 24/7, I did not reboot but, I have just done that very thing and I'm pleased to say, at least for the time being, I'm still activated.
)

I have my 'legal' OEM version/key on standby though.......just in case.
