With money laundering

FIVE SENIOR SUITS at Benq were formally charged with insider trading and money laundering, Digitimes reports.

The men indicted are chairman KY Lee, president Sheaffer Lee, VP Eric Yu and two senior beancounters.

They're accused of selling bonus shares to a Malaysian firm and then shipping the money back to re-invest in Benq.

Benq issued a statement saying it was shocked by the accusations.
