its not magic, but its definately nicer on your eyes, has neat multimedia features, and networking is alot smoother..
its not a "critical" upgrade, but it is fun to play with.
you definately need 2 gigs of ram to run Vista trouble free, especially if you do alot of graphic/multimedia stuff.
