Less than a week after pricing details leaked from Microsoft Canada, Amazon have listed Windows Vista Ultimate Edition for $399.Amazon gives little details about Vista but lists a release date of 30th January 2007. According to recent reports, Windows Vista RC1 is in escrow and is likely to be released next week. If RC1 surfaces next week then it's likely Microsoft is on track for Vista providing there isn't as many as 3 release candidates. During the Whistler (XP) beta Microsoft took less than 2 months to finalise XP after RC1 was released.
