I know that I probably could have posted this in the hardware section, but felt it's more for information purposes then anything else.
The computer retailer I normally buy from sends out daily e-mails about the latest news and reviews and stuff. Todays one had an article about AMD cutting the Desktop CPUs prices by an average of 47%, but mentioned that it might not be "
enough to retain overall price/performance leadership".
I've been using AMD CPUs for the last 3 or 4 years, because I believed they are the better ones to use for game playing, but since I've seen this article

Seeing that I'm not up to scratch with the "war" between the two CPU giants, I ask you guys for you informed opinion.
