AMD starts Intel antitrust case in Germany
Lawyers rub hands with glee

NOT CONTENT with making its partners' lives a legal misery in the USA, it appears that chip firm AMD wants to pour money into lawyers' pockets in Europe too.

Computer Business Review reports that AMD has filed an antitrust case against Intel in Germany alleging it breches cartel rules in the country.

AMD already has cases brewing in Asia, in the US and with the European Union - its partners in the US are faced with digging out documents which will probably represent a huge pile in two respects - a mountain of documents and a monumental rack of coin for myriads of American pleaders. Just this week, Synnex and Toshiba America objected to subpoenas issued in US the case, which is expected to last for a trillion years.
