Intel "might buy" Nvidia
A FELLOW on The Street reckons that AMD may make a bid for graphics firm ATI
What evidence this chap has for this we're not sure, but hey this is Wall Street we're talking about.
Rumours did the rounds that Intel was interested in ATI, but CEO Dave Orton scotched those just a week or so back.
One of the ATI partners at an event in Spain did suggest, however, that Intel would be more interested in Nvidia than the Canadian firm.

vid. He bases his musings on a note from financial analyst Apjit Walia who reckons that the ATI channel is awash with the rumours. Shares of ATI rose sharply on the rumours.
