I remember a couple years ago when most of us had nothing faster than a 4X, or were just looking at 8X a number of B1 members were offering opinions about different brands. I would imagine the opinions are different now. Personally, once I find a brand that seems to produce the results I want I stick to it, although I got a stack of 50 Memorex a couple months ago that had 5 discs with manufacturing defects on the recording side. Be interesting to read opinions on the subject.
