Hello All,

I have bought a new computer. Here comes the PC config

P4 2.6 Ghz
Mercury 915 Chipset mother board
512 MB RAM
Samsung 52x CD ROM
Samsung 16x DVD +- DL Writer
80 GB HDD
etc..

Problem is When ever i copy any content from CD ROM drive my PC becomes very slow. I beleive this is a Slave drive.

The same does not happen if i copy from DVD Writer. I belive this is a Master

Also i changed my CD ROM as Master and tried, again this problem occurs. I tried replacing the CD ROM drive. but still the problem persists..

Any idea why this is happening?
