The BBC have published an article showcasing some original new products from around the globe. Inventions include robots, touch screen coffee tables, electronic paper and the wackiest remote control ever.
Speaking from a consumer's point of view, author Ian Hardy examines the Robonova-1, Entertaible, Sony's eReader, an office-privacy tool with a twist and the new Loop TV remote.
As well as being an interesting read, it makes you wonder what other original inventions will spring up in the next few years...
