Similar to what I described earlier.
I actually managed somehow (?) to get it back thru BIOS with the help of my MCSE after battery clock replacement and BIOS reset on a MB.
Power supply now looks OK, all fans work.
Replaced a video card.
Reformatted drives, fast and slow, just in case.
Even if a boot sector died it should've worked now, but...
Tried to reinstall 2000 thru two different repair procedures, tried full reinstall,
after first reboot always stops when a W2000 horizontal bar on a bottom of a screen appears.
Both hard drives stop blinking, no signs of life.
Went to BIOS and reset again to OPTIMAL SETTINGS, and now again died.
Sent a nasty email to Sutermicro,
No response yet.
Was told by my techs to take out and reset RDRAM, put 4 sticks in different slots, just getting again Supermicro screen with TAB or DELETE, which again comeback with black screen "forever".
