Asia earthquake death toll more than 12,600

JAKARTA, Dec 27 (Reuters) - More than 12,600 people were

killed by tsunami waves triggered by an 9.0 magnitude

earthquake in southern Asia on Sunday.

These figures are preliminary and in some cases rough

estimates by local officials:
