The 2 best Cd Writers out there are Plextor 24x10x40 and the Lite-On LTR-24102b 24x10x40.
The Lite-On is the cheapest of the 2. You can pick that up for around $110.00 and it can read just about everything out there.
If your into burning games both of these burners can read Safedisc 2 also. Which means you can just burn with CloneCD and play it in any CD Drive.
