well is BIOS/CMOS shows that both your cd-rom are detected, that does not necessary means that both will be working. tried before had both of my cd-roms connected and detected well by CMOS, but when in OS environment, only 1 of the drive could be recognise by the OS.
check settings also what about the boot priority of the booting up sequence as they have already mentioned.
is booting from cd-rom enabled?
