Unfortunately its mexican but still well made and it was hanging right next to a srv signature strat which I drooled over for awhile. This one has the maple finger board also and its the sunburst. I smell an upgrade though before the end of the year.
Actually about the only diff between the Mexican and Amercan are the pickups. I know a couple of people who have mexican models with better pickups and they sound as good as the Amercan models ..
