Thanks to evryone who replied to my post.
Ok, all understood but the URL that PCTech provided (and I did not read it all), tells you how to create an ASP.NET account and that's ok, but the account should not be automatically created without agreement of the user.
As I aready stated, the HP software installed the .NET software because, I suppose, it must require it and, I also checked WinUpdate and downloaded and installed SP1 for .NET.
I've now deleted the ASP.NET passworded account because I was unsure what it was doing there; so, does it matter that I have deleted it and is the account actually required for .NET to perform correctly?
