A: MCE 2005 only supports up to two TV Tuners that must have identical incoming signals. You cannot have one input coming from your satellite receiver while another input is coming from a cable set top box. If you want to have two incoming signals and both are going through a cable set-top box or satellite receiver, currently you would need to have 2 set-top boxes/satellite receivers.

A: not too difficult if you keep the set top box so that the signal is decoded

A: If you are connecting to your domain with MCE 2004 now and upgrade to 2005 this will not be lost. If you disconnect from the domain after upgrading you will not be able to rejoin the domain.

A: Yes, you are able to burn a DVD with MCE 2005 that has the proper software (such as Sonic DVd burning software), installed.
