Hello All,

Quote:
Basically, you have to edit the boot.ini file..

Goto start, control panel, system, advanced, click on settings under Startup and Recovery, then click Edit to edit the boot.ini file, modify it so it says: /Execute instead of: /NoExecute=OptIn so mine looks like:

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Micro soft Windows XP Home Edition" /fastdetect /Execute

And bam! Restart, and it should be gone.
I saw this and wasn't quite sure if there were any advantages to disabling Data Execution Prevention? Does anyone know any pros and cons to this?

Thanks,
