i'm also a tax payer, and its not my fault if I need help! I'm not complaining at all and I never suggested that just rich people pay for those programs, because I am also a tax payer I pay for them too! My logic is if I'm paying out of my own pocket for a program that I want to be a part of, WHY can't I use it? If you would like my financial information its in a spreadsheet format, just PM me (it autocalculates)

It pains me to see people get upset about someone wanting to use a public program that they themselves have contributed to! Medicare and Medicaid are taken out of my check as well as FICA, why shouldn't I be allowed to use a program that is designed to help people that dont make above the "State Poverty Wage"?

I never said just rich people pay for it, I know everyone does including myself and my spouse. Until you start pricing how expensive diapers alone are, please dont get upset and say your sick and tired of it. because the first and only immidiate pay back is a tax deduction that you get when you have a child! Diapers for new borns are 13$ a pack, and you figure that they "go" 10-12 times a day and there are 40 diapers per pack that would be:

14.79 (here in the store)
40 (# of diapers
that is .36975 CENTS PER DIAPER

so at 10-12 times a day that is: $3.70 to $4.44

and they will be size NB diapers for about 1 month that would be roughly 310 - 400 diapers. that alone in 1 months time would make a total for just newborn diapers around "135$"

Now forgive the rough illustration, but everytime you change a diaper you have to use at least 1 wipe to clean them (NOT TP paper!) now you can see how it starts adding up really quick, because they sleep 1-3 hours at a time so when they wake up they get changed, fed and so on, then when you factor in formula, which BTW is 20$ and up per CAN! you will go through 1 CAN or so a week and thats 80$ right there.

So Totally: 135$ + 80$ = $215

that again doesn't count wipes, or the health insurance increase per month which is 95$ a month, or the cost for doctor vists. So the fact that people complain is a good complaint, because there isn't enough help out there, and I dont know about anyone else but I dont have $310+ to pay for that (wipes and doctor costs not included) every month. Its almost like paying rent or something 2 times!

Sorry if this made anyone mad, again PM me if you want my financial information so you can see what I really do make and pay!
