Not sure about any of those $Money$ assist programs, never used them. As for having time off, your wife and you could look into FLMA. You and your wife can get up to 12 weeks off from work and your employer can't give away your job or fire you. I've used this with every one of our 4 kids and plan to use it again in February when #5 comes along. Of course, understand that your time off is not paid.
