Hi Folks, could check the specs. on the modem you have. That would tell you what could be done. ADSL also depends on wire length. The longer the wire the slower you will go.
Cable Providers are rather slippery, they worry alot because of the "Sharing Bandwidth" issue that is part of their system. Rather than a separate connection for each user. In each case if they want to "Stream Video" there is a long way to go. That is something like 100 MBytes/hour, or 72 GBytes per Month if you watch all the time.
