ok here's the deal.
I've got winxp running fine on a 766 celeron with 256mb of ram and 98 on a PII 300 with 128mb of ram.
the computers connect fine, xp is the internet machine and 98 is the client( ie it accesses via crossover cable) the 98 machine see's that there is a network present and connects to the internet fine without a problem.
Problem. XP doesnt' see that there is a network. all it sees is there is another computer connected, it won't show the network or any of that or even that i've setup a network for both computers...i've tried everything i can possibly think of.
Solution
well thats why i'm posting here so maybe some one can help out.
