YAHOO HAS INTRODUCED an Anti-Spy beta for its Yahoo Toolbar, allowing users to scan their PC for adware and spyware for free.
Yahoo says its Anti-Spy beta is particularly easy to use, and "provides consumers with visibility into their computer to help them manage their online experience." As with what in my opinion is the best Anti-Spy software, Spybot: Search and Destroy, users will be able to restore deleted files should they have the crazy desire.
To coincide with Yahoo's Anti-Spy beta launch it has introduced an anti-spyware forum, for users to discuss their spyware problems and keep themselves updated on the software's developments.
As well as the new Anti-Spy feature, the Yahoo Toolbar has internet search tools, a pop-up blocker and a portable bookmarks feature all built in.
