Firstly no one has yet figured out how to isolate human pheromones. Secondly pheromones which people generate or are sensitive to are unique to each individual. What may be a subconscious turn-on for one person, will have no effect on another.

The same researcher, Martha McClintock more recently found that a pheromone caused women to be in an elevated mood: Hormonal Behavior 2000 Feb;37(1):57-78, "Psychological state and mood effects of steroidal chemosignals in women and men".
This was one particular pheromone which is human, has been isolated, and does have the same effect on most people.

http://www.pherone.com and they make an amazing difference.
