I have rarely noticed this problem with ZA except with big files or folders with lots of items. Makes me mad since I bought ZA Pro and have 18 mos left on the license. It did update about 3 days ago however and I haven't had any problems since. We will see. I hope they can fix it because I really like ZA too.
