I am sorry about all ur loseses data DOG!
I am also using Maxtor hdd's since 3 or 4 years ... my lastest on ( 120GIG Ide ) was and still very fine.
Hopefully ... i am happy to read that ( but sorry for you )... i was thinking to buy a new maxtor Hdd ( 200 or 250gig ).
I will take a closer look around me to see if i will ear something about.
