sorry to hear of your problem. Because you have a lease there is not much that you can do. Your best bet is to tell the landlord when the place will be empty and have him/her try to rent it out as soon as possible after that. They may not rent the same place to two people at the same time, but if you are lucky the landlord will do his/her best to rent out the place then he/she should refund you money for the other people taking your place in that home.
