Well download this:

Then run the program. Then drag the iso into it and it will give you the md5. If it matchs the one I posted above then its the real thing. If it does not match it then it is not the real thing. Might still be fine but it was changed some how by someone else.

So you should only install the one that matchs that md5. There is one iso around that I know of that tracks users. Remember lindows is open source so anyone can download the source code then changed it but say its still the real thing. Easy to make it look like it. Maybe just changed a few files or added a few. But that changes the md5 value. Anything you do to it wold change its md5.

The point like I said is so that you are downloading the real genuine product that has not been editied in any way. Good pratice so you dont get a virus, spyware, etc. Or even worse.

And yea if you get it from the real lindows ftp then yea its real and should match the md5 above. If it does not i would delete it and look else where for the real thing.

If you still need it I can hook you up. BTW I did not just make that md5 value up. Its posted on the download section of lindows.com in which I'm a member of. Lifetime membership.
