Not much there that i didn't read earlier but I liked the site and booked it...
Set a restore point from erd from earlier before installing the security updates...
Still got the hal.dll error, swapped the one y'all posted too but that didn't work eiither no surprise there.
Had to try it though... Guess I'll delete the partition, remake it and install ******* pre sp1 and sit on it til XP Reloaded surfaces.
