I have just bought a New Acer Ferrari Laptop.....

Everything works Fine, except for a Couple of niggles??

1) On my Website I have a Java Applet runing, which I can see when using my PC but doesn't show up when browsing with my Laptop....

It is WinXP Sp1 Installed, but I assume it's the sp1a Version with Jave removed!!!

Is there a way for me to Install some software to be able to view the Java Applet...??

2) Windows Update gives me an ERROR when I try to scan my Laptop for Updates....It works fine when connected via a Modem, but refuses to work via the wireless connection!!!

I assume it's the Firewall in the Router to blame...Does NE1 know what ports I need to open to be able to allow Windows Update to work??
