Hey There!

Just make it a rule of thumb that you do not respond to anything that comes in the email wanting your account information, wanting you to install updates/patches and requesting information. They're all bogus! Real service providers always distribute their requests for information through their websites directly at you when you log in to their services.

I work for a major ISP in Australia and I get to to deal with these sorts of things all the time on a dialy basis. I find it is very easy to be able to fake those emails that are sent with your address as the From Address to bogus email addresses with unsafe attachments in them and that is how you get those fake bounced emails from mail servers that could trick you into opening the attachments and thus dropping your guard and getting infected/attacked.
