I spent some time modifying the MS Bluetooth stack to run correctly on Windows 2003. And the result is a success
I now have the "MS Optical Desktop for Bluetooth" working flawlessly.
If anyone else is in my position, wanting to use the MS Blootooth stack under w2k3, let me know, and I will make a repackaged version of the original installer (Windows XP version is availible as a free download).
