OpenOffice.org is delaying by two years the projected release of the Aqua-native version of the open source office suite. OpenOffice currently runs in the X11 windowing environment on Mac OS X. A Mac OS X native version was originally scheduled for in early 2004, but has now been delayed to 2006, due to a lack of developers volunteering, according to eWeek.
