HELP!

Ok. This is the 2nd time in like a week or two that my system has overheated.

First I start smelling something burning, like a bearing isnt working right or something. Know what i mean?

Then the computer freezes. And this last time, I was able to just reset button it...and went into BIOS and checked the temps
They didnt seem too hot, like CPU was about 102deg. F. The system temp, i dont remember but it wasnt much over 100 F either.

I opened it up, and waited like 10minutes. And booted up fine. BIOS info was lost. But it always is when I unplug the computer. Grrr. *eventually* I'll change the battery .

Anyway. What could it be? powersupply? CPU?
I dont wanna be w/o a computer.
