Not related, but didn't want to start a thread for this.
Is there any difference between an Ultra 100 IDE cable and an Ultra 133?
I bought 2 rounded ones and after I got home noticed one says Ultra 100 and the other Ultra 133. Both have 80 wires, of course, and the same color coding on the primary, slave and mobo connectors. I couldn't find anything on my Google searches about this particular point.
as far as i know, the only difference is an ATA133 cable is a marketing scheme to get you to pay more money

I agree with making u pay more money quote.
All things that are faster than the previous version have always cost more.
Back to the ATA 100 and 133 stuff.
Refer to this link :
http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/A/ATA.html
it provides a brief description of the ATA 100
ATA 133 - the difference is that the transfer rate is 133MBps
