yep, everything is in the root of the webspace
, but because a lot of posts, etc. had links pointing to /forums/ for the year and a half our board has lived in a /forums subdirectory, what we did was just symlink (or redirect) every request for something in /forums/ to /, instead of mass searching and replacing across a near 70mb database
