Strange prob you have there,I just tryed it here and all worked
First HAve you any tweak prog installed that have locked you to change the hidden files?
It can be that prob if you have one installed.. Like tweakxp there if i remeber right you have an opsiosn to change hidden fils
can you untick Hide protected operating system files???
