From a technical point of view its certainly possible. I know MSDN DVDs often have a few different windows versions on one disk, and a boot menu to select the installation program to run. I imagine the proccess of creating multiboot DVDs is very similar to creating standard multiboot cds.
The thing is at the moment all versions of winxp can fit on a single CD (with optimisation). Perhaps theres not much of an advantage going to DVD-R media. An immediate disadvantage is that not everyone has a burner. The concept of an all in one DVD with office, and every important program on it might be interesting tho.
