Personaly I would stay away from nvidia based chipsets, the ATI all in wonder will probably do more for your all around that you are looking for. But before you go and waste the money you need to make sure that you can disable your onboard because of proprietary systems.. like compaq who don't want you messin with it
and the voodoo card is very good, but 3dfx is no more, so no driver support
