Ishy,
Assuming they haven't left a floppy in the drive do the following.
1) Boot to the "Recovery Console" from the CD.
2) Copy some files from the CD to the hard disk
copy D:\i386\NTLDR C:
copy D:\i386\NTDETECT.COM C:
Change D in the above lines to whatever the drive letter the CD drive is.
That should solve there problem.
