just a word of causion - one should never take these debates personally
it's one of those good/bad things to have a debate section on a forum like this. on one hand, it's nice to have a place to debate about serious stuff and express individual views. however, you can run into a "mob" mentality where 1 person's view is strongly antagonized by a group of ppl, which can be really bad in a small community like this
so i'd advise the mods/admins to tell ppl becareful what they say while excercising their right of "freedom" of speech and take other's "feelings" into consideration. respect eachothers' views and don't attack anyone on a personal level with malicious words.
