Last year,

I bought a new 56k modem and for the first time in 4 years, I hit the 50k/sec when I was connecting with this one

Same line, same pc and another cheap modem

I was really impressed Why with my other modem, I was unable to connect to 50k ????

I have passed 4 years connecting only to 48k max
