pentium 5's won't be released for a while now.... as far as i know, there aren't even any concrete plans for it yet
they can probably still push the p4 core quite a ways, plus with the advent of hyperthreading the p4 can be around and be competitive for quite a while i think
amd has 400mhz fsb barton core athlons coming out soon, and them amd-64, hammer, the x86-64 chip, coming out later on this year or early next year
