I have a 8 GB drive (temporarily, 60 GB is in repair) running WinXP Pro SP1. Looking at the properties of the drive © in My Computer shows it contains 7GB of files, but looking at the properties of the folders on that drive, there is only 4GB of files. The drive is in NTFS; I ran the Error-Checking and it found no problems. I have all system and hidden files visible. Can't see any 3GB files. Did Disk Cleanup, looked in TEMP folders. Any ideas, if not, it's FORMAT time! (It pays to BACKUP!)

Everything has been perfect for 8 months, then all of a sudden...aaaaaaa

Thanx in advance.
