I won't even install a Service Pack for any NT-based system until it's a few months old. No way I'm going to be a guinea pig for Bill! You gotta be nuts to install a BETA Service Pack on a machine unless you're testing it and you've nothing to lose if the PC dies. I remember when NT4 SP6 (or SP5, not sure) came out. It made very loud sucking noises after applying! The '6a' version fixed what the original screwed up. Luckily I didn't apply it to all 20 of our PCs!
